If you subscribe to TNT Sports through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, you need to activate TNT Sports before you can start streaming. Go to How do I activate my TNT Sports subscription? below to learn how.

Step 1: Activate HBO Max

When you sign up through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, your provider will give you instructions on how to activate TNT Sports. If you don't have activation instructions, choose your provider below or contact them for help activating TNT Sports. (Your provider is who you signed up for TNT Sports through).

Here's how to activate TNT Sports via HBO Max with your BT/EE subscription:

Here's how to activate your TNT Sports via HBO Max through O2 subscription:

Once you subscribe to TNT Sports through O2, watch for an email from O2.
Open the message from O2 and choose the link in the activation email.
Enter a new email address or the existing email address associated with your HBO Max account.
If prompted, do one of the following:
- New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
- Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code) and enter the 6-digit code from your email. This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam).
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to go!

You can now sign in to TNT Sports via HBO Max on any supported device.

If you signed up for TNT Sports via HBO Max through Prime Video, here's how to activate:

On your phone or computer, go to HBOMax.com/login.
On the sign-in screen, choose create an HBO Max account (below Don't have an HBO Max account yet?).
Select Prime Video and then sign in to your Amazon account.
Do one of the following:

New subscribers: Follow the New subscribers steps above to create your HBO Max account.
Returning subscribers: Follow the Returning subscribers steps above to link your subscription to your existing account.

If you subscribed to TNT Sports via Sky, you can activate TNT Sports via HBO Max directly from your Sky device.

Note Make sure you're signed out from any HBO Max account on your Sky device before you start the activation process.

Here's how to activate:

On your Sky home screen, choose HBO Max and choose Continue.
On the Welcome screen, choose Get Started.
Enter a new email address or the existing email address associated with your HBO Max account.
Note If you subscribed to HBO Max via Sky in another country or region, you'll need to enter a new email address.
If prompted, do one of the following:
- New subscribers: Complete the account form and choose Create Account.
- Returning subscribers: Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code) and enter the 6-digit code from your email. This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam).

Step 2: Set up your account

To link your new subscription to your existing account, do the following:

On the first screen, enter the email address for your existing TNT Sports / HBO Max account and choose Continue.
Check your inbox for an email from HBO Max with a one-time code (email subject: Your One-Time HBO Max Code).
Enter the code from the email.
Confirm that you want to connect the subscription billed through your provider to your existing account.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to stream.

Now, you can sign in on any supported device using your TNT Sports / HBO Max email and password.

Didn't get the one-time code email?

Search all of your inbox folders for an email from HBO Max (including your Promotions, Junk, and Spam folder).
Choose Get New Code on the enter code screen and check your email again.

Things to know

You can connect your TNT Sports subscription to HBO Max. How you add HBO Max depends on who you subscribed to TNT Sports through.

Choose how you subscribed to TNT Sports:

Sign in to HBO Max, find a title you want to watch, and choose Get Access.
You can also open HBO Max and choose your profile > Subscription > Get Access to More Content.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period, then continue.
Add your payment method and start your subscription.
Your bank may require you to verify your identity with 3D-Secure before authorising the transaction. If you have trouble with 3D-Secure, please contact your bank.
Choose Start Streaming and you're ready to watch HBO Max.

Now you can sign in and stream HBO Max on any supported device. Your subscription will continue until you cancel it.

NoteSaver plan subscribers can cancel via account settings and retain access until the end of the yearly plan. Unpaid monthly billing instalments will remain payable for the remainder of your current yearly plan.

Step 1: Find who bills you

Here's how to find who bills you for HBO Max:

Do one of the following:
- Web: Go to HBOMax.com/subscription and sign in (if needed). Can't sign in?
- Phone, tablet, or computer: In HBO Max, choose your profile and then Subscription.
- TV device: In HBO Max, choose the Settings icon and then Subscription.
Here you'll find who your subscription is billed through (top of screen). Your HBO Max entertainment plan and TNT Sports subscription can be billed by different parties.

You can also check your bank statements or ask your internet, mobile, or TV provider if they bill you for HBO Max.

Step 2: Cancel your subscription

If you're billed through us, here's how to cancel your subscription:

Go to HBOMax.com/subscription and sign in (if needed). Can't sign in?
Choose Cancel Your Subscription.
No cancel option? Take note of who your subscription is billed through (top of screen) and find them in the Third-party billing section below.
Confirm your cancellation and take note of your expiry date.

You can stream until your subscription for your monthly plan expires at the end of your billing period.

Saver plan?

If you cancel during your Saver plan subscription period, all monthly payments will remain payable for the remainder of the subscription. Once you cancel, you'll continue to have access to HBO Max until your subscription expires at the end of the 12-month billing period.

Find who your subscription is billed through below:

If you're billed through Apple, here's how to cancel:

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
If you don't have an iOS device, go to Apple's Cancel a subscription article.
Choose your name.
Choose Subscriptions (if prompted, log in with your Apple Account).
Choose HBO Max in your list of subscriptions and then Cancel Subscription.
Can't find it? Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to purchase your subscription. For help, go to Apple's Can't find subscription article.

You should get an email from Apple confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

If you're billed through Google, here's how to cancel:

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app.
To cancel on your computer, go to Google's Cancel a subscription on Google Play article.
At the top, choose your profile icon.
Choose Payments & subscriptions and then Subscriptions.
Choose HBO Max in your list of subscriptions and then Cancel subscription.
Can't find it? Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account you used to purchase your subscription. For help, go to Google's Cancel a subscription on Google Play article.

You should get an email from Google Play confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

If you're billed through Roku, here's how to cancel:

On your Roku remote, press the Home button.
To cancel on your phone or computer, go to Roku's Cancel a subscription article.
Use the directional pad on your remote to highlight HBO Max.
Press the Star button (*) to open the Options menu.
Choose Manage subscription and then Cancel subscription. If Manage subscription isn't available, try these same steps on each Roku you own.

You should get an email from Roku confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

If you're billed through Samsung, here's how to cancel:

Go to samsungcheckout.com and sign in to your Samsung account.
To cancel on your Samsung TV, go to Samsung's Cancel subscription article.
From the Purchase History menu, choose Subscriptions.
Find your HBO Max subscription and choose Unsubscribe.

Once cancelled, you should get an email from Samsung confirming your cancellation. You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period. If you need help cancelling your Samsung-billed subscription, contact us.

In HBO Max, choose TNT Sports (top of screen).
Here you'll find live and upcoming games and sports events, along with recent highlights and replays.
Choose the sports event you want to watch.
Choose Watch Live to start watching the event in progress or Watch from Start to start watching at the beginning.

Things to know about watching TNT Sports on HBO Max:

Player controls: When watching a live event you can pause, fast forward, rewind, and jump to what's happening live (Go Live button). For more info, go to HBO Max player controls.
Devices: Sports can be streamed on any supported device. You can also use Chromecast, AirPlay, or an HDMI cable to watch live sports on your TV.
Quality: You can watch live sports in up to full HD 1080p resolution
Replays: Replays are available for select events after the broadcast ends.
Ads: Live sports and full event replays contain ads.
Alerts: Alerts let you know about key moments in related sports events—for example, when a goal is scored. Choose the alert to start watching the other event. Select the Alerts icon in the video player to turn alerts on or off.
