- Choose Cancel and enter your account information manually.
  If there's an existing HBO Max account with the same email address, you'll be asked to sign in.
If prompted, enter your email address and create a password, then choose Continue.
Review your name and choose Create Account.

You can subscribe to HBO Max when you activate your new Roku device. Here's how:

Turn on your new Roku device and follow the on-screen setup instructions. Need help? Go to How to activate install Roku device.
Enter your email address for your Roku account.
On your phone or computer, open the email from Roku and select the activation link. Follow the instructions to create a new Roku account or log in to your existing account.
On the Offers page, choose HBO Max from the suggested channels and then choose Show offers.
Note You can also download the HBO Max app from the Roku Channel Store and sign up.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period, then continue.
Confirm your subscription.
Go back to your Roku device and open the HBO Max app.
- Choose Continue to share your Roku account information (your name and email address).
- Choose Cancel and enter your account information manually.

Troubleshooting

If you get this message, you may have signed up for an HBO Max account in another country or region with the email address you entered. To fix this issue, do one of the following:

Enter another email address. Enter a different email address for your HBO Max account.

Change your account email. Sign in at HBOMax.com/account and change your email to a different email address. Then, go back to the Create Your Account screen and enter your original email address.

If you see a 'Plan Unavailable' message, it means you have an active HBO Max subscription started in another country or region.

Here's how to change your HBO Max subscription:

Sign in at HBOMax.com/subscription and choose Cancel Your Subscription, then confirm.
You can stream until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
Once your billing period ends, go back to HBOMax.com/subscription.
Choose Payment Method and update with a payment method issued in the country where you want to start your subscription.
Go back to HBOMax.com and follow the steps to start a new subscription.
