Change an Amazon-billed subscription
If you subscribed on your Amazon Fire TV or Fire tablet (Brazil and Mexico only), then your subscription is billed through the Amazon Appstore.
Billed through another provider? Go to Manage an HBO Max subscription.

To change your HBO Max subscription through Prime Video Channels (Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico only), go to amazon.com/myac and sign in to your Amazon account. To change plans, go to How do I change plans?

In HBO Max, do one of the following:
Phone, tablet, or computer: Choose your profile and then Subscription.
TV device: Choose the Settings icon
and then Subscription.(Only Adult profiles can manage subscriptions.)

You can change your plan or billing period on your Amazon device. Here's how:
In HBO Max, choose the Settings icon
and then Subscription. Can't sign in?Choose Change Your Plan.
Choose a subscription plan and billing period.
Follow the on-screen prompts to change your plan through Amazon.
Once your subscription is updated, you should get an email from Amazon confirming the change.
When will my plan change take effect?
The effective date depends on the change:
If you change to a lower-priced plan, your plan change will happen on your next billing date.
If you change to a higher-priced plan, your plan change happens immediately. Amazon will refund you for the remaining days on your subscription plan and charge you for your new plan. Your next billing date will be adjusted.
