Change a WarnerMedia-billed subscription

To change your plan, go to How do I change my plan? To change your add-on, go to Add or remove the Extra Member Add-On.

Your subscription automatically renews on your next billing date. Here's how to find your next billing date:

If your subscription is billed through another provider, go to Manage an HBO Max subscription.

To cancel your HBO Max subscription:

Once canceled, you'll get an email confirming your cancellation. You can continue streaming until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period. If you change your mind about canceling, you can go back to Subscription (Step 1 above) and choose Resume Your Subscription.

If you have the Extra Member Add-On, the add-on will be cancelled when your base plan expires and if you have remaining time on your Extra Member Add-On, you'll get a prorated refund for the remaining days on your add-on. Your extra member will lose access to HBO Max when your plan expires.

When you add the Extra Member Add-On, you'll be billed each month until you remove the add-on or cancel your base plan. If you purchased a monthly plan and the Extra Member Add-On on different days, they will be billed separately. To view your receipts, go to How do I get a payment receipt?

If you remove the Extra Member Add-On, your extra member can continue streaming until the end of your current billing period. Your base plan is not affected.
