Forgot my HBO Max email or password

If you're unsure of your account email or password, use the following info to get signed in to HBO Max.

Here's how to sign in without a password:

When prompted for your password, choose get a code instead.
Check your inbox for an email sent by HBO Max (email subject: Time Sensitive: Your One-Time HBO Max Code). This email should arrive within a few minutes. Be sure to search all inbox folders (including Promotions, Junk, and Spam). Didn't get the email?
Enter the 6-digit code from your email.
If prompted, add or update the password for your account.
Choose who's watching and you're ready to stream.

If you don't know your HBO Max password, you can reset it. You need to have access to your account email in order to reset your password. If you no longer have access to your email address, please contact us.

Here's how to reset your password:

Open HBO Max on your phone or tablet (or go to HBOMax.com on your computer) and choose Sign In.
When prompted for your password, choose Forgot Password?
Enter your HBO Max account email and choose Submit. Forgot your account email?
Check your inbox for an HBO Max Password Reset email. This email should arrive within a few minutes.
Open the most recent Password Reset email and choose Reset Your Password.
Enter a new password and choose Save.

Now, sign in with your account email and your new password.
